What is a “Digital Media Ninja”? Simply put, I can’t pin down only a single thing at which to excel, so, I excel in everything. Well, nearly everything.

I’m a laser-focused, detail-oriented Graphic and Web Designer that just wouldn’t stay put. My skills set has grown to include coding, video design & production, animation, UI/UX design, and algorithm development.

Voter-Candidate Matchmaker

Connecting voters with the candidate that is most congruous with their beliefs
UX Design
Personal Project | November, 2019
  • Developed and implemented a web-based user experience that was designed to present a questionnaire of current political issues and use the data received to calculate a user's political tendencies and compare the score with political candidates of the 2020 United States Presidential Election and return the highest matches.
  • Using pre-existing data of candidate views, the algorithm was developed to include a weighing system that would affect the calculation based on how important each issue was to both the user as well as the candidates.

Golf Club Company | May, 2019 | Role: Project Lead
  • Designed, developed, and implemented the algorithm to help users identify the optimal golf driver for their needs.
  • User Experience involved creating an interface that asks users about some of their physical traits and habits of their golf game/play-style and then returns the most relevant product based on their needs.
  • Process incorporated analytics to track the increase in conversions.

  • As Design Team Lead, I oversee all design elements, ensuring high-level design output for visual elements, UX, and web code. Staying up to date on latest web technologies and implementing new processes and methodologies, streamlining workflow and increasing profitability, while continuing to improve a great client and user experience
  • Supervised junior designers to maximize workflow efficiency. Mentored and directed junior designers to help acclimate them to our CMS, graphics, and coding standards
  • Created videos and motion graphics to enhance the look and feel of websites Collaborate with Digital Marketing Managers to develop graphics and advertising campaigns in accordance with client banding. In addition to running the Creative Department, I also doubled as a Developer, coding and testing most produced websites

Achievements

  • During my first 12 months at AppSoft Development, website development and launches increased by 400% compared with production in each of the previous two years
